El Día de los Muertos is a traditional Mexican holiday that honors deceased ancestors and loved ones.

Mexican villagers prepare for the holiday by cleaning and decorating their graveyards, baking special pastries, creating humorous toys, and building altars in their homes for their departed loved ones. It is a day that celebrates life and commemorates the lives of those who once lived.
