For the third year, Indianapolis will participate with ten other U.S. cities in the Italian Film Festival USA to showcase Italian culture through films. The Italian Film Festival USA brings to Indianapolis the best lineup of recent Italian cinema from award-winning directors, highlighting debut films from exciting new talent. All films are free and open to the general public. Films will be in Italian with English subtitles.
The Festival will open on Saturday, April 12th and run through Saturday, May 10th.
There will be two venues: the Lilly Auditorium in the University Library and the Campus Center Theatre, both on the IUPUI Downtown Indianapolis campus. Lilly Auditorium is located at 755 West Michigan Street. The Campus Center Theatre is located at 420 University Boulevard.

Italian Film Festival USA headquarters are located in St. Louis, MO where it was founded in 2004 "with the objective to provide the public the opportunity to see films that have not yet or may never be seen locally, always with the scope to elevate the awareness of and educate the public about Italy—its land, people, culture, and language."
Professor of Italian at IUPUI, Cristiana Theilmann, heads the Italian Film Festival, USA, Indianapolis. Other members of the Indianapolis committee are Miria Allman, Nancy Bettis Beasley, Michael Laudick, Susan Lew, Allan Misch, Jane Orr Querin, Paola Santini, Ghega Scolari, Helen Small, Nico Sneider, Alessandro Thielmann, Annalisa Thielmann, Valerie Trimble and Isabella Velona.
