The sixth annual IUSM Hunger Banquet will start at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 28, in the IUPUI Campus Center, Room 450.
This annual event is an opportunity to watch multicultural dance performances and experience meals representing what people in the developing world eat every day. The keynote speaker for this year's event be Betty Bugusu, M.D, managing director of the International Food Technology Center at Purdue University.
All proceeds from this event will support the IU-Kenya Orphans and Vulnerable Children Program and the Tumaini Children Center. Last year's event raised nearly $2,000 for the Tumaini Children's Center and the IU-Kenya Orphans & Vulnerable Children's Program.
