IUSM students are invited to "paws" for a study break with service dogs in training Friday, May 2, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the Daly Student Center, Room 185.
The IUSM Wellness Committee and the Children and Adults with Disabilities Student Interest Group are teaming up with the Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN) to give students an opportunity to de-stress by spending some soothing time with some four-legged friends who are being trained as service dogs. The event also offers medical students a chance to learn more about the advantages service dogs can provide to children and adults living with disabilities.
A healthy lunch of fruit, salad and wraps will be provided -- for the people.
