Carol Armbruster Kennedy, Ph.D., senior lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology at IU Bloomington, will present "Learn Over Lunch: Movement Warrior" from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, in Emerson Hall, Room 304. A second session is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 19, in Goodman Hall, Room 135B.
This lunchtime session will discuss ways that IU employees can incorporate functional movement into your day. Dr. Kenney will explore the “evolution of movement” in society and why individuals should pay more attention to the day-to-day impact of their movement choices. Creative ways incorporate movement into the day -- beyond going to a fitness facility -- will be discussed in order to help participants sit less, move more and live their best life.
This event is supported by Healthy IU. Registration is free but space is limited. All full-time IUSM staff that attend will receive a Healthy IU water bottle.
