Connect with the Office of Student Employment in this session and review the full hiring process for students who would like to use their Work-Study funds towards a position in your office/department.
Payroll officers and supervisors are invited to attend and review the process from marketing the position, processing all of the necessary paperwork to finalize the position, to best practices for transitioning a student's paperwork for continued or terminated employment.
From this session, participants will walk away with a better understanding of the structure and definition of the Work-Study program. We will provide contacts and resources for the program and will review frequently asked questions from work study students and employers.
This is a great session for those new to employing work study students, those interested in beginning to employ work study students, or those who have not hired students in a while and would like a refresher on the program!
