Summary

Museum admission required plus $7 for members or $9 for non-members.

Suggested for ages 6 and up with registered adult. Classroom resources available.

Kids and families can stroll through the streets of Egypt sampling the food, meeting the people, like musician Dena El Saffar, and experiencing the culture in a simulated trip to this extraordinary and intriguing country. Finish with a reflective discussion, led by Caterina Cregor Blitzer, director of International Education at the Indiana Department of Education, that compares Egyptian and American families. Presented by The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Big Brother, Big Sister of Central Indiana, and Indiana Department of Education. Questions?
