          About This Event

          Summary

          INTERNS -

If you believe that you are ready to do a Physical Education internship either this summer (2011) or this coming fall regardless of your plan of study, then instead of having an Informational Meeting, I strongly suggest that you read the FAQ’s on the PETM web site. {Go to www.petm.iupui.edu; then click on Physical Education upper left hand corner; then click on Internships in the middle of the page; and then you should see FAQ’s, P443 application; P393 Application; and the link to the database of approved sites.}  Once you have read the FAQ’s and feel that you qualify to do an internship then complete the appropriate application and turn it in to me – Mr. Bradley, the Coordinator of Internship for PE.  If you have additional questions, then don’t hesitate to email them to me.

If you are a sports management plan of study, then you have 9 prerequisite classes and must have completed 5 of the 7 BUS classes with a 2.50 GPA in the prerequisite classes and degree major classes.  You would then complete the P393 application.

If you are any one of the exercise science plans of study or fitness studies plan of study, then you have 10 or 11 prerequisite classes {there are two of four that you could be taking as co-requisites classes and they have an (*) after them.  You also must have a 2.50 GPA in the prerequisites and degree major classes.  If you qualify, then you would submit the P443 application, as you will take the P443 class the semester prior to doing the P393 class.

Again, after reading the FAQ’s any questions don’t hesitate to email me -  irbq100@iupui.edu.
