          About This Event

          Summary

          When: Tuesday, November 13, 2012, 1pm-5pm

          Where: IUPUI Campus Center, 4th Floor

          All IUPUI students and alumni are encouraged to attend the 1st annual IUPUI Diversity Career Fair.  The fair is a partnership between IUPUI’s Career Services Council & Multicultural Success Center. A wide variety of employers, spanning from Heartland Food Products Group & Charles Schwab, to McDonald’s Corporation & Monarch Beverage Company, will visit IUPUI’s campus to meet with students and alumni to discuss potential employment opportunities, internships, & professional academic programs beyond the scope of the undergraduate & graduate experience. These employers all share a common interest: the extension of inclusivity both professionally & socially, the continued growth of a vibrant multicultural community.  A diverse workforce fosters creativity through the integration of differing viewpoints & also improves productivity in the long run because of the wider array of experience & possible solutions. Both local & national employers interested in these & other benefits will gather for the IUPUI Diversity Career Fair with the hope of finding student interns & full-time employees from all disciplines and walks of life that share their commitment to a diverse professional environment.

          Students and alumni can register at the door on the day of the event. Professional dress will be required for  admission to the event. Regardless of background or current enrollment, all IUPUI students and alumni are invited to share in this exciting event.
