Making Memorable Programs and Events
Are they yawning or laughing? Are they slouching or leaning forward? We all know the signs of an engaged vs. bored audience.
In this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to reflect on your own experiences with memorable programs, interact with peers, and learn more about how to create public programs that are unforgettable. Learn the building blocks that will leave your audience wanting more and looking forward to your next event.
Workshop leader Pam Blevins Hinkle is director of the annual Spirit & Place Festival (managed by the Polis Center, a unit of the School of Liberal Arts), a 10-day civic festival with more than 40 collaborative programs. The organizer of this one-of-a-kind civic festival for seven years, Pam has more than 30 years of program design experience. To reserve your spot, respond to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Memorable Programs” in the subject line.
Sponsored by the Liberal Arts Office of Development and External Affairs and The Polis Center.
