Join us for an evening with Tavis Smiley to celebrate the transformational work of the IU School of Education at IUPUI. Two School of Education alumni—one teacher and one school principal—will be recognized for their impact on student success in urban schools.
Tavis will stimulate the audience by addressing his TeachersCount campaign and his work to advance educational success for African American males ("Too Important to Fail").

Bring your IUPUI Student ID (JAGtag) and a copy of your current class schedule to the School of Education Student Services, ES 3131 (Mon-Fri 8:30-5:00 p.m.) to pick up a pass.
