The IU School of Medicine and the National Student Medical Association hosts its 11th Annual Diversity Week January 22-25, 2013. Nationally known speakers will be presenting on The Affordable Care Act and the impact of this federal legislation on many underserved populations. All programs begin at noon in Wishard Hospital's Myers Auditorium and lunch will be provided.

Tuesday, January 22 - Leroi Hicks, MD, MPH, Harvard School of Medicine; talk titled "A Call to Fix the Least Humane of All Inequities"
Wednesday, January 23 - Eric Alejandro Sweet-Cordero, MD, Stanford University School of Medicine; talk titled "The Road Less Traveled: Minorities in academic medicine"
Thursday, January 24 - Sade Kosoko-Lasaki, MD, MSPH, MBA, Creighton University School of Medicine; talk titled "The Affordable Care Act: Our role in increasing the primary care workforce"
Friday, January 25 - Alicia D. H. Monroe, MD, University of South Florida; talk titled "Redirecting our focus to an exceptional patient experience"
