For the past 43 years, the Black Student Union has sponsored one of the largest events on IUPUI’s campus – the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Dinner.  This year, we will continue to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy by hosting an evening of empowerment on Sunday, January 20, 2013, at 6:00pm at the Indiana Roof Ballroom located in downtown Indianapolis, 140 West Washington Street.  This year’s theme is “To live as brothers, or perish as fools”. This quote stems from the speech given by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in St. Louis, Missouri on March 22, 1964. This is a challenge of action from Dr. King that we are still working to achieve today.

The Celebration Dinner will take place on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
