Abstract: The aim of this presentation is to present a study concerning challenges encountered by Polish writers of scientific articles when writing in English as a Foreign Language (EFL). For this purpose, texts written in English by native speakers will be compared with such articles written by Polish writers - specialists in the area of linguistics. The issue is increasingly significant due to current scientific advancement and globalization, as it has become necessary to share research findings in all fields of science in English as the international language.
