Craig Pikaard, Ph.D., Carlos O. Miller professor of plant growth and development at the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at IU, will present a seminar from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, in the VanNuys Medical Science Building, Room 326.
Dr. Pikaard will present “RNA-directed DNA methylation and epigenetic mechanisms of gene silencing in plants.”
This event is presented by the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Refreshments will be served outside Room 326 at 3:30 p.m.
