                                                             Brown Bag Lunch and Workshop

                                                 “Sourcing of Greener/Reusable Giveaways and Décor”

IUPUI Events Going Green third workshop is being held on Thursday, February 21 at the University Library in room 1126 from 12:00 noon -1:30 pm. Rebecca Moreland, an “Event Expertista”, and owner of The Moreland Group, and a panel of local event planners, will be presenting on the topic of greener giveaways, awards, invitations, decorations and signage. We will begin by examining some giveaways that are frequently given to event attendees and determine if they meet the “green” criteria that we will be discussing. There is no charge for this event. The maximum number that we are able to accommodate is 40 attendees.

Following the session, learners will be able to:

 +  Source giveaways, awards, invitations, decorations, and signage that are made from recycled, bioplastic, or biodegradable products.

 +  Select live, local plants for sustainable floral arrangements.

 +  Donate items that are reusable or unused.
