“Pass the Mic” events are Democracy Plaza’s signature event series where we engage our IUPUI community in opportunities for dialogue, debate or deliberation that result in appreciation for different perspectives, collaborative problem solving, or identification of common ground.  This event’s topic revolves around the recent rash of shootings in public spaces throughout the United States.  We are sure to talk about a variety of ideas and issues around gun control, including but not limited to: legislation on gun control, mental health, guns in schools, violence and video games, types of guns and/or access to ammunition. Free pizza served. Join us!
