Offings is an exhibition of paintings by Professor Marc Jacobson and sculptures by alumnus and Herron staff member Ray Duffey, M.F.A. '11, that speaks to the overlooked and perhaps underappreciated aspects, areas and materials of the urban landscape. Duffey uses reclaimed lumber and wood joinery to explore support structures— physical, personal and societal, while Jacobson addresses the tactile quality of the painted peripheral cityscape.
