Kabirul Islam, Ph.D., postdoctoral research scholar in the molecular pharmacology and chemistry program at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, will present a seminar from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the VanNuys Medical Science Building, Room 326.

Dr. Islam a faculty candidate in chemical biology/ drug discovery will present “A Journey from Total Synthesis to Epigenetics: Decoding Protein Methylation at the Crossroads of Chemistry and Biology.”

This event is presented by the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the IU Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center.
