Medical Humanities and Health Studies Seminar Series will present “Reflections on the Body: Living Organ Donation” from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, in the IUPUI Campus Center, Room 409.

Macey Henderson, J.D., co-founder of the HERO Network, will discuss living donor organ donation in the U.S. and abroad, the altruistic non-related donors, donor chains, and how social media plays a role in soliciting for potential donors. The HERO Network provides organizations access to consultants, speakers, educators and program developers focused on topics such as organ transplantation and research compliance. Henderson is a graduate of the Medical Humanities and Health Studies Program.
