About This Event

Summary

William Enright, director of Lake Institute on Faith & Giving at Indiana University School of Philanthropy, leads participants in a look at the findings of this survey, which was released on March 4, 2013. Dr. Enright explores the differences between theological traditions concerning giving, how people give, how technology plays a role in giving, and effective practices and lessons learned.

In this workshop, participants discover how the findings of this study can provide useful information to help with planning stewardship campaigns, annual budgets and other opportunities for giving. Dr. Enright discusses leveraging technology, understanding the giving cycle, the importance of “Thank You,” celebrating mission success, understanding Generation X and Millennial donors and more.

The survey was conducted in partnership with the Indianapolis Center for Congregations, The Alban Institute, Maximum Generosity, and the National Association of Church Business Administration (NACBA). You may download the free report at Lake Institute on Faith & Giving.

The workshop cost is $30 per person (or $25 per person for congregational teams of three or more registered together). The fee includes breakfast, lunch and workshop materials.

This workshop is limited to Indiana congregations.
