Robert M. Veatch, Ph.D., will present the inaugural Robert L. Wolen Lecture from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in Walter Hall (R3), Room 203. Dr. Veatch, professor of medical ethics at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics and professor of philosophy at Georgetown University, will present "Equipoise in Clinical Trials: The Moral Justification of Randomization and Why it Fails." This event is presented by the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the IU School of Medicine and the IU Center for Bioethics.
