The Life-Health Sciences Internship Program Spring 2013 Poster Session will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 12, in the VanNuys Medical Science Building atrium.
Every April, interns from the Life-Health Sciences Internship program gather to present posters of the work they've done over the course of the past two semester. This year's event will mark the sixth year of the program.
Komal Kochhar, an LHSI mentor and Health Services Project Coordinator at the Bowen Research Center in the IU School of Medicine Department of Family Medicine, will be theguest speaker. Additional comments will be presented by Brandi Gilbert, director of the Life-Health Science Internship Program; Pat Gallagher, Ph.D., associate dean for graduate studies and professor of cellular and integrative physiology; and Simon Atkinson, Ph.D., associate professor of medicine and biochemistry and molecular biology.
The LHSI program provides undergraduate from IUPUI the opportunity to work in labs and offices affiliated with medical research at the IU School of Medicine. The program is provided by the Graduate Division of the IU School of Medicine.
