On Monday, May 20th, we will have our fourth candidate on campus for the IUPUI position of Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion: Carmen Suarez. Dr. Suarez will give a presentation to faculty, staff, students, and community members on 5/20/13 from 3:00-3:45 pm in Taylor Hall, room 2110. Visitors can park in the Vermont Street garage for a fee: 1004 W. Vermont Street:

Dr. Suarez is currently the Chief Diversity Officer and Associate Vice Provost for Student Affairs at the University of Idaho. She receieved her BA in history in 1980, MA in medieval history in 1983, and PhD in 2007 from the Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Her dissertation was on "Faculty of Color Career Satisfaction: The Intersection of Race, Preparation and Opportunity."
