The 26th Annual IU School of Medicine Student Research Program in Academic Medicine will be from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, in the VanNuys Medical Science Atrium.
Thirty-four medical students were selected to participate in the SRPinAM program this year. The students spent 12 weeks over the summer under the mentorship of an IU School of Medicine researcher on their own research projects. Participants also attended weekly seminars to learn more about the process of considering research as a future endeavor.
A series of oral presentations were previously delivered Aug. 1-2 to higlight this research with the top project earning scholarships, including $13,000 to the first-place winner.
