You’re writing your thesis, or you are undertaking a major research project. You need to search for information to support your ideas: how will you know when you have exhausted your search, when your research is comprehensive and complete? In this session, you will learn how to locate relevant databases for your research and formulate effective search statements so that you can find relevant information quickly and painlessly. We will discuss finding resources through IUCAT, IU’s online library catalog, searching in online resources (including journals and books), locating dissertations and thesis (to jumpstart your literature reviews!), interlibrary loan, and more.
