The General Assembly Internship Program for 2014 offers paid (biweekly compensation of $700) internships in all four caucuses during the legislative session and provides an opportunity to be an active participant in the legislative process. All four caucuses are accepting intern applications until October 31 for the 2014 session. Following the completion and submission of the online application, the appropriate staff will review it and contact candidates to schedule an interview in the fall.
Working closely with legislators will further interns interpersonal communications skills, in addition to strengthening political and administrative skills that will benefit academic and professional growth. Interns are a part of a governing body that produces laws and shapes public policy for Indiana's more than 6 million residents.
