          About This Event

          Summary

          The IU Office of Research Administration has announced a new implementation date for the Kuali Coeus Time system.  All functions will switch to the new system at that time for all users and locations on Sunday, Nov. 17. 

          All new protocol submissions, and any changes to existing protocols will be submitted for IRB review via the KC system, including renewals, amendments, non-key personnel updates, and FYIs (prompt reports and noncompliance). KC IRB will not be utilized to notify the IRB of study closure. Study closures should still be submitted via email to irb@iu.edu.

          Prior to this implementation, System Overview/Training sessions will be provided for Approvers, Payroll Processors and Payroll Managers. Training videos will be available online for all maintenance documents, employee and approver functions. Training videos will be available online for all maintenance documents, employee and approver functions.  Updates and details will be shared with the listserv as they become available on the website. 

          Indianapolis training session times and dates are:

          • Tuesday, Nov. 5: 9 to 11 a.m., University Library Auditorium, Indianapolis

          • Thursday, Nov. 7: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Riley Outpatient Center Auditorium, Indianapolis

          • Thursday, Nov. 14: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. University Library Auditorium, Indianapolis

          The Bloomington overviews may be attended in person, or viewed via Breeze webcast.  Sign in as a guest if you do not have a breeze account. 

          Registration is not required and participants may attend/connect per their schedules.  A recorded version of the overview after the sessions for those unable to attend the live events.
