          About This Event

          Summary

          The IUPUI Black Student Union will host the 45th Annual IUPUI Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Dinner on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at the Indiana Roof Ballroom on West Washington Street in Downtown Indianapolis.

          The dinner will feature Jasmine Guy as the keynote speaker.  Ms. Guy is best known for playing the role of the iconic “Whitley Gilbert” on the Cosby Show spinoff, A Different World for which received two consecutive NAACP awards.

          Individual tickets are $25 for students, $65 for IUPUI faculty, staff, and alumni and $75 for community members. Tickets are available in the Office of Student Involvement in Room 370 of the IUPUI Campus Center, 420 University Blvd.

          In addition to individual dinner tickets, table and sponsorship packages are available for purchase. The sponsorship packages range from $425 - $1000, and include dinner tickets, the sponsorship of student tickets, and advertisement space in the dinner program. The deadline for table sponsorships and ticket purchases is Jan 3,2014
