          About This Event

          Summary

          Big Red II is a Cray XE6/XK7 hybrid supercomputer, with both CPUs and GPUs. There are many aspects of the machine that will feel new or different to the users. This workshop will expose the Big Red II users to the system policies, the programming environment and compilers. The emphasis is on making this workshop a hands-on event and we will have sessions on compiling and running applications, using GPUs, introductions to CUDA and OpenACC.
