Deepta Ghate, M.D., MBBS, will present “Alzheimer's disease and glaucoma” at the Department of Ophthalmology Grand Rounds from 7 to 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, in Spitzberg Hall at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute.
Dr. Ghate is a resident in ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. She received her M.D. degree from the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Center for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, in New Delhi, India, where she also received an MBBS in 2000.
Her husband, Sachin Kedar, M.D., MBBS, assistant professor of neurology and ophthalmology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, will present “Evolving concepts in papilledema” at the Department of Neurology Grand Rounds at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, in the Goodman Hall Auditorium.
