In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the IHS invites families to learn more about this great American leader and his connections to the Hoosier state. Through the exhibition, Sharing the Dream, and activities including crafts, games, musical performances and films, families will learn about Martin Luther King Jr. and the civil rights movement in Indiana. Enjoy performances from the Asante Children's Theatre and Kenyetta Dance Co., participate in a scavenger hunt, watch a short documentary on Dr. King and much more! The blood drive is a joint effort between the Engineering Technology Student Council (ETSC) and Purdue Engineering Technology (ET) Staff. The blood drive will take place on Wednesday January 17, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. with walk-in times from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m..
