The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, and celebrates breast cancer survivorship while honoring those who have lost their battle with the disease. With funds raised by the Komen Race for the Cure, the Komen Foundation is able to fund breast cancer research grants, meritorious awards and community outreach programs. A Mandala is a Tibetan artifact made of colored sand. The sand is placed into a four fold symmetrical pattern containing a rich assortment of symbolic allegory relating to Buddhist teachings & philosophies. Monks from the Drepung Gomang monastery in India will be on campus creating the Mandalas. » Read More
Part of the Brothers Keeper Series. Take Back the Night empowers women and men to express their concern and raise awareness about sexual violence - which instills fear and threatens the safety of those in communities, campuses, and relationships. This event hopes to give a voice to victims of violence and let it be known that violence in the community and campus will not be tolerated. » Read More
The Indianapolis International Film Festival features a total of 191 films representing 43 nations. Films will screen at Landmark’s Keystone Art Cinema at Keystone at the Crossing, Key Cinemas on South Keystone Ave., and at the Herron School of Art on the IUPUI campus.
