Help Jam the Jaguar Bus as the IUPUI community donates food and nonperishable items to aid those in need. Volunteers are needed on "Drop Off Day" to pack the Jaguar bus as well as to deliver donations around Indianapolis. » Read More

Sat. 11/18: An Affair to Remember Dinner

Join the Madame Walker Theatre Center as it begins a yearlong celebration of the Walker Building's 80th Anniversary. At the dinner, done in conjunction with Classical Savion, theatre expansion plans will be revealed in detail. Guests will enjoy delicious cuisine prepared by a five-star chef and the delightful sounds of the Indianapolis-based Metropolitan Youth Orchestra. At the conclusion of the dinner, a group of living legends will be inducted into the Madam C.J. Walker Hall of Fame. » Read More

Sun. 11/19: Snow Goose Global Thanksgiving

The celebration involves inclusive entertainment for all ages, a potluck meal and a candlelight moment for world peace. Participants should bring a covered dish to share, a raw vegetable to contribute to the Stone Soup to feed the hungry and a willingness to meet new friends in peace and harmony. » Read More

Mon. 11/20 - Sat. 12/30: Season's Greetings from the White House

President Benjamin Harrison started the tradition of decorating a Christmas tree at the White House in 1889. The tradition continues today at the home of the nation’s 23rd president in downtown Indianapolis. Visitors are invited to tour the President Benjamin Harrison Home in its holiday splendor, reminiscent of Christmas in the White House in the late 1880s. » Read More

Wed. 11/22 - Thu. 11/23: 34th Annual Mozel Sanders Thanksgiving Dinner

The Mozel Sanders Foundation is in need of both donations and in-kind services. Call (317) 636-7985 to receive a meal, sign up to volunteer or make a donation. » Read More

Fri. 11/24: Circle of Lights Tree Lighting

The annual event features festive acts from around the state. Santa, will of course be on hand to usher in the holiday season and flip on the lights. After the lighting, visitors will enjoy Downtown's holiday centerpiece, complete with 4,784 lights and 52 garland strands used to create the 242 foot display. The magic continues with toy soldiers and peppermint sticks encircling the Monument. » Read More
